Trivia
"Although not formally trained in conducting or music,
... he's fascinated by the art and considers himself an independent
scholar. He has studied singing as well as dabbled in both piano
and French horn." - Thursday, October
4, 2001 article by Brett Oppegaard, staff writer for The Columbian
in Vancouver, Washington.
"I went to the first two years of high school in Urbana,
Illinois and I graduated high school from North Eugene High in Eugene,
Oregon. I went to both places, I graduated from the latter, not
the former. But I went to high school in Urbana with Roger Ebert.
We actually co-edited a science fiction newspaper." -
